Looking good for retailers!
This year has been a year of promises - ‘they’ keep saying that retail sales are going to pick up but retailers aren’t seeing the increase as much as they’d like. When things begin to look positive, retail sales fall down for a month.
With the festive season comes shopping and I’m willing to make a small bet on the fact that sales will be higher then the same time last year. What it’s coming down to, is what specials retailers are going to pull out of the bag to attract bustling shoppers. We’re so used to seeing sale signs, that it’s almost a joke to think that we’ll pay full price. However, it looks like consumer buying habits are coming around and also heading toward online.
